About Us

Train Station Meats & Market is a family owned and operated butcher shop and market located in Circleville, Ohio. Formerly known has Circleville Fast Freeze, the operation has been serving quality meats to the community since the 1950s. Jim and Susan Cooksey purchased Circleville Fast Freeze in the Spring of 2022 and opened to the public in the Summer of 2022, after extensive updates and renovations. Along with the many building improvements and updates Jim and Susan Cooksey are excited to continue to grow the market and bring locally made goods to Circleville.  

The Cooksey’s and their family may be new to the Meat Market industry; however, they have a long history raising livestock. For nearly 40 years the couple has raised and sold high quality market beef both privately and commercially. This industry knowledge will carry through to their newest endeavors and they are excited to welcome the community to Train Station Meats & Market.
